Decorating our faces (and many times the rest of our bodies) can have some serious medical drawbacks, not to mention the time it takes to heal. The most common of these complications is infection.

Infection on any part of your body is painful, but because piercings often happen on sensitive areas of skin, the pain is amplified. Furthermore infection can become septic, and lead to further medical conditions. To combat these infections we recommend applying ozonated olive oil generously to these areas, as the ozone destroys bacteria, heals scarring and prevent skin tissue from dying. If you have multiple piercings all over your body, we recommend having ozone therapy sessions in an ozone sauna to make sure sufficient ozone reach infected areas.

Ultimately it’s safest to not have any piercings, and if you do to keep it to a minimum.
